Formerly a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, started his investment career in 1988 as a retail broker with Richardson Greenshields of Canada, and later RBC Dominion Securities.  His background includes experience as a high frequency quantitative trader.  Being a trader for hedge funds located in Off-Shore jurisdictions was where he learned the intricacies of working with international institutions and understanding the benefits associated within these jurisdictions.

Dwayne Strocen is registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission in Chicago USA as a Commodity Trading Advisor ("CTA").  In this capacity, he is fully licensed and qualified as a Portfolio Manager for the implementation and management of a "Managed Futures Fund" including the Global Climate Fund.  In addition, his primary duties are to oversee the analysis and management of all hedging strategies for both financial institutions and corporations.
